Treatment That Fits Your Life

Find clear aligner treatment with Invisalign® or Spark™ at Mack Orthodontics for get the beautiful straight teeth you’ve always wanted—without braces.

A Modern Approach

Clear aligners are a modern approach to straightening teeth. Invisalign and Spark create a custom-made series of aligners just for you.

Your aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable, and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gently move your teeth into place based on the movements Dr. Mack plans for you.

There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten with Invisalign or Spark. You just pop in a new set of aligners every two weeks until your treatment is complete.

You’ll get a great smile without treatment that gets in the way of your daily life. The best part about the process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth.

Dr. Mack has a lot of experience treating patients with Invisalign and Spark clear aligners, and we’re excited to offer this technology to our Burlington and Hillsborough braces patients.

Invisalign

The Clear Aligner Process

Invisalign and Spark clear aligners use clear acrylic trays that fit over your teeth to straighten your smile. They’re removable, making it easier to eat, drink, brush, and floss.

Clear aligners are much more comfortable than traditional metal bracket braces and can give you stunning results.

We'll take photos and X-rays to create a 3D image of your mouth. We make your first set of custom-fitted aligners from these images, and then you begin straightening your teeth.

You’ll probably wear clear aligners for nine to 15 months and use between 18 and 30 sets during treatment.

You wear the trays for about 22 hours a day but can remove them for brushing your teeth and eating. Based on your individual needs, you’ll wear several sets of trays throughout your orthodontic treatment. You’ll start to notice a change in just a few months!

Differences Between Invisalign & Braces

Compared to traditional braces, Invisalign and Spark aligners are much more comfortable as they don't have any metal components that can irritate your mouth.

Plus, since they can be removed when you eat, you won't have to worry about restrictions on your diet – go ahead and indulge in your favorite snacks like popcorn and peanuts.

However, it's important to note that you must take the aligners out when eating or drinking anything other than water, so make sure you're willing to do so before opting for clear aligner treatment. Keeping your teeth clean is also crucial to prevent staining, so remember to brush your teeth before putting the aligners back on after each meal.

Overall, Invisalign and Spark aligners make brushing and flossing a breeze as there are no brackets and wires to work around.

Benefits of an orthodontist

Your Teen Will Love Invisalign Treatment

Straightening your teeth with Invisalign or Spark clear aligners can be a great option if you’re concerned about your appearance and don’t want to look different from your friends.

Clear aligners use a system that meets the unique needs of teens. That makes them a great clear option for teens shying away from traditional metal braces. Here are just a few benefits your teen can enjoy with aligners:

Perfect for Busy Schedules

Clear aligner treatment is ideal for busy parents because there are never any emergency appointments for broken wires or brackets.

There are fewer appointments than traditional metal braces because you get your aligners in advance, and each visit requires less "chair time."

Our teen aligner patients come in about every 8 weeks for a total average treatment time of 9 to 15 months.

Doesn't Cost More than Traditional Braces

Every patient's needs are different, and many factors determine the cost of clear aligners.

In most cases, the cost of Invisalign or Spark is comparable to traditional braces and covered by most dental insurance plans.

Financing options are also available to make treatment more affordable for your family.

Great for Active Teens

Clear aligners are ideal for teens who play sports, play certain types of instruments, love crunchy foods, or are worried about how metal braces will look at homecoming or in the yearbook.

Teens should be able to participate in their favorite activities with confidence—even during orthodontic treatment.

With clear, comfortable aligners, teens can keep being themselves and love their smiles even more.

Talk to Us About Clear Aligners

Like traditional braces, you’ll generally need to wear a retainer after clear aligner treatment to maintain your new alignment and confident new smile.

Dr. Mack may not recommend aligners for some complex alignment or bite issues or for those who have bridgework; he’ll advise you about what options are best for you.
